It’s hard to believe that the school year is almost over. Families will soon be taking vacations together and summer is upon us. We have had a fantastic year at St. Dunstan’s in both the Sunday school and our Youth Group. Our Sunday school has grown in numbers and the number of teachers has increased as well. We are blessed to be working with your children and they bring much joy to our program.

Easter is almost here and it is a time for sharing the wonderful gifts that God has given us. Earlier this week I met with some of our Sunday school teachers, and together we filled plastic eggs with goodies for the children’s annual Easter egg hunt this Sunday.
Children are one of God’s greatest blessings, and I love working with them. As we get closer to Palm Sunday and Easter, the level of excitement downstairs in our Sunday school is rising. We are blessed to have a wonderful team of teachers working with our little ones, and those teachers are preparing lessons and activities for them that are fantastic.
There is a lot of excitement in our Sunday school these days. Easter is just around the corner, and the children are making a special mural for the congregation to enjoy. They are eagerly putting their ideas together with the help of the teachers, and the results will be amazing.
This Sunday, our youth will be leaving church immediately following the morning worship service. They are heading up to Snoqualmie Pass for some inner tubing fun in the snow. They are bringing some friends with them, and it will be a fabulous day for everyone involved.
This coming Sunday, January 31st, is the Annual Meeting at St. Dunstan’s Church. Having been a member of our church for over fifty years, I have attended many of these meetings. However, I don’t think I have ever been quite as excited about one of them as I am this year. God is at work in all of us and we have much to celebrate.
