At St. Dunstan’s Church, we do hospitality well. We feed people generously, welcome them warmly, and care for people with compassion and generosity. A recent Yelp review of St. Dunstan’s read:
Everyone at this church was so friendly and kind. I went alone today and had probably half of the congregation approach me to say hi and ask about me. The priest himself said hello to me and said it was a great pleasure having me there to worship this week. They do a lot of feeding people through the week whether it’s shelters or tent cities, they also have a community dinner every Tuesday that multiple people invited me to. They seem to truly care about people and it’s beautiful.
Christian hospitality is a beautiful way of giving thanks to God. When we love, welcome, include, and bless the guests who come through our doors, we are sharing God’s love in a direct and tangible way. When we tell people about our church, and invite them to participate, we extend that hospitality even further.
Our Hospitality ministries include our greeters, coffee hour, summer picnics, and special events. These are supported by the St. Agnes Guild, Community Dinners team, and individual members. Every time you welcome a stranger, guide a guest in worship, serve a meal, or greet someone at coffee hour, you are acting as a good steward of the gifts that God has given us.
Yours in Christ,
