On Tuesday evening we launched a full Financial Peace University class with 23 participants. The program is excellent, and we could not have done it without the wonderful new high definition screen and speaker system paid for with a gift from St. Agnes.
The St. Agnes Guild is a model of good stewardship. They gather on the first Friday of each month for their meeting, enjoy good fellowship, and plan their various events and fund raisers. They hosted a Valentine’s Day Dinner, Harvest Dinner, and the Canterbury Faire in the last year. And then they turn around and give thanks to God by giving grants and gifts to various organizations. This year, they supported St. Dunstan’s Christian Formation program with a generous gift to buy a new video system.
The St. Agnes Guild gives thanks to God through their various gifts and through their community of friendship and caring. All that we have is a gift from God, and when we give thanks we grow in our love of God and our awareness of God’s grace. If you would like to know more about St. Agnes, including how to participate, please speak with Lu Gardiner or Melinda Wahl.
Yours in Christ,
