This fall we launched our Build a Bigger Table stewardship campaign: “When you have more than you need, build a bigger table, not a higher fence.” You all responded to our stewardship campaign with enthusiasm and generosity. In the coming year we will have the ability to continue to build our congregation, adding to our outreach ministries, engaging in new ministries seeking peace, and continuing the wonderful traditions that make St. Dunstan’s Church special.
The whole idea of Building a Bigger Table is to make room for more people to enjoy the love of God. In the past year we have feed 6,102 meals to campers at the Tent City 3 and United We Stand camps. We fed 5,884 people at our Community Dinners on Tuesday evenings. The St. Agnes Guild fed 961 people at their various events and dinners. We served 4,293 people at our coffee hours after services. These numbers, though impressive, are just a small part of who we are and what we do as a congregation. We are sharing God’s love by loving and feeding people. As Karen likes to say, “We are the congregation that feeds people.”
Your generous response, and your pledge to support your congregation, are powerful expressions of thanksgiving to God for all that God has done for us and through us. Thank you, and God bless you.
Yours in Christ,
