The vestry of St. Dunstan’s Church has earned the trust of the congregation. You can count on them to act with integrity; you can go to them with any issue, large or small; they are committed leaders in the ministries and programs of our congregation. I often sit and watch as they work through an important issue, and I find myself both humbled and inspired by their depth of commitment, their wisdom, and their compassion. We are fortunate indeed to have such a good group of people as our vestry.
Serving on the vestry is a spiritual act. We start each meeting with a spiritual reflection offered by one of the members. We end each meeting by sharing prayer requests, praying for one another, and praying for our congregation. All the work of the vestry happens in the context of faith and prayer. This is truly an act of stewardship and of thanksgiving to God.
The building energy and growth we are experiencing at St. Dunstan’s Church is supported by our excellent vestry. Next time you see a member of our vestry, be sure to share with them what you love about our congregation and thank them for their service.
Yours in Christ,
