Our Sunday School and Youth Group are both off to a great start. We have new children in our Sunday school and new youth in our Youth Group. All of our teachers and leaders have returned for another year, and with them they bring their experience, love, and caring. Our programs will provide opportunities for our young people to grow in their relationship with God, help others through outreach, and have a good time.
As we move forward in the year we hope that you will consider being a part of our programs. Each one of you has special talents, knowledge, and experience that can help our young people. If you have something that you would like to offer, please let me know. Perhaps you might want to share an experience, a gift, tell a special story, or maybe work with the children. You are also welcome to provide a lunch for a Youth Group meeting, a treat for the Sunday school children, or possibly help out in some other way.
The children and youth at St. Dunstan’s are a special gift from God. We are all children of God, and how blessed we are to have each other. Getting involved with young people gives us a glimpse into our future. They are the ones who will be leading St. Dunstan’s Church in future years. Our young people are “Rooted in Christ, Grounded in Love.” God bless each and every one of them, and may God bless you. Let us share our love and grace with each other, as God shares His boundless love and grace with us.
