The Canterbury Faire/Holiday Bazaar is this coming week!
We need our congregation for two reasons! Please plan to attend the event on Saturday, November 5th, from 9:30 to 3:00! A totally new array of vendors will be sharing their wares, plus the traditional soup luncheon, “Stuffs Room”, “Coffee Bar”, “Book Room”, and “Holiday Room”. Second, we need you to find that special cookie or bread recipe to contribute to the COFFEE BAR! Our website is here.
Enter to Win a Christmas Quilt handcrafted by a Member of Saint Dunstan’s. It is beautiful as usual. Chances will be sold beginning with the Bazaar, November 5 until the drawing on The Sunday of Lesson and Carols, Dec. 11. Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket or six for $5. Proceeds for Saint Agnes OutReach.
St. Agnes Guild is taking part in Operation Nightwatch’s Annual Sock Drive. Homeless people are on their feet all day, and the only pair of socks they own are very likely to be wet during Seattle’s rainy time of year. Please bring in new socks (Costco or Fred Meyer is a great place to buy packs of three or more) and place them with the bazaar donations, between now and Sunday, Nov. 6. Find more information at seattlenightwatch.org/sockit.htm.
Please continue to bring in sturdy reusable shopping bags for our Community Dinner guests. A collection site is in the Parish Hall, and we continue to give away all those donated each week.
Coffee Hours: We encourage all parishioners (or a group!) to sign up at least once. The items do not have to be homemade! You can also give St. Agnes Guild a contribution of money (please make checks payable to St. Agnes Guild) and we will purchase and dedicate the coffee hour in your name. Thanks in advance! !
