Vestry Corner

Lights, Furnaces, and Glorious Occasions!

At our May vestry meeting, Harvey LaZelle report that Seattle City Light and the vendor we selected to do the relamping project are renegotiating on cost. As soon as that is done, we hope to get the exit signs replaced first.

Harvey also reported he has received the first bid on replacing our oldest furnace, plus the two used for downstairs. That initial bid is just under $10,000. Harvey intends to pursue Puget Sound Energy subsidizing part of that cost.

SAMSUNG CSCLast Saturday it was my great privilege to be one of the sponsors for Jonathan Hanneman and his wife, Shannon Walker, when they were received into the Episcopal Church. It was also Cathedral Day at St Mark’s and wonderful morning. I loved meeting and being with people from across our diocese.

Oh, and I write this after spending the day on a whale tour—all day on the water with a lunch layover at Friday Harbor. Just to let you know sometimes your Senior Wardens gets to play!
